BBIA is a group of local residents exploring the idea of Birch Bay becoming a city. If found feasible, BBIA will advocate for incorporation, giving our community more direct control over our future.
BBIA membership shall be open to anyone who lives in, owns property, or operates a business within the proposed city limits and who is at least 18 years of age. Membership is attained by registering with contact information at a general meeting.
All BBIA meetings are open to the public per Open Public Meetings Act and RCW 42.30. All BBIA meetings will be publicized to BBIA members at least fourteen days prior to the meeting date using email and through other platforms.
Direct the timely progress of research, communication, and negotiations of the BBIA mission; responsible for working with the County; State; and Boundary Review Board.

Invited Committee Chairs
Coordinate activities of the incorporation campaign and represent the campaign to public entities and the media. Responsible for the strategy and vision.
Ensure current information on the progress of the Steering Committee is transmitted to the public in a timely manner. Facilitate community outreach and engagement.
Invited Steering Committee Members
Collect research and data relating to incorporation feasibility. All information produced by committee belongs to BBIA.
Actively build and preserve financial resources necessary to support accomplishment of the BBIA mission.
